Signs show a broader adoption of teledentistry applications
I have been working with a lot of entrepreneurial dentists in the past five months. The take away is that there are a lot of outdated systems and policies holding dentists back from engaging and caring for their patients in new ways. Those roadblocks hinder patients from accessing care and it is only amplified by the pandemic. I haven't felt like the current polling from the American Dental Association has captured what is really going on with teledentistry. So I have been circling back with dentists I have presented webinars to, and I am looking for more to fill out this survey in order to get a better picture. The initial findings are promising.
